Anthony DeFranco, PE is a licensed NYS Professional Engineer (NYS PE Lic. # 081895) and also a Certified Nursery Landscape Professional (CNLP Lic. # 2675) who provides consulting services for site development projects around the Lake George region and surrounding Adirondacks.

 

 He has over 20-years of consulting experience working on various civil and site projects throughout upstate New York and the Adirondacks.

Anthony DeFranco, PE is a past president of the Mohawk-Hudson Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

 

He received the Meritorious Service Award from the Mohawk-Hudson Section of ASCE in 2010. He was honored with the 2011 Post Star's "20 Under 40".

 

His other business, DeFranco Landscaping, Inc. compliments his engineering work. Their work has been highlighted in numerous publications, including the Times Union, The Post Star, Lake George Mirror, Landscape Management Magazine Landscape Contractor and Turf Magazine.  DeFranco Landscaping received the 2010 Frank Leonbruno Memorial Lake Stewardship Award for use of native plants. DeFranco also received the 2017 Irving Langmuir Award for using Low-Impact Development (LID) Techniques.

Adopt-A-Highway Participant

NYS Route 9N - Silver Bay-Hague, NY


Anthony DeFranco, PE - Consulting Engineer is an Adopt-A-Highway participant; having adopted a 2-mile section of NYS Route 9N from the center of Hague toward Silver Bay.

 

Approximately 5,000-miles of New York State highway roadsides have been adopted by 2,400 active participants.

 

Approximately 4 to 6 bags of garbage is removed from the highway twice a year.
